St James’s Church is an evangelical Anglican church based in Ryde, on the Isle of Wight, the largest island off the coast of England. We are separated from the mainland by the Solent, a narrow strip of sea famous for its yachting. Situated off the south coast, we enjoy some of the best weather in Britain!

Our ministry is based on the clear teaching of God’s Word and the application of biblical principles to daily living. We focus on being open to God through corporate worship, private prayer and daily reliance upon the power of the Holy Spirit.

As an Anglican Church we are part of the Anglican Mission in England (AMiE). With an ordained minister, St. James’s is committed to its protestant and evangelical practices and doctrines. We are committed to supporting other like minded churches inside and outside of the Anglican structures.
