Families, Children and Young People
We have a very wide range of ages here at St James', and are especially family-friendly! As such, there are many groups on Sunday's, as well as through the course of the week, to cater for all the various groups of children and young people.
Click here to go to the St James Church website 'Youthworks' pages.
Children in Services
We are always delighted to welcome children and babies to our services at St James'. Please don't feel embarrassed if they start to make a noise, but - if you would rather - you are very welcome to use the reception area at the back of church which has a small selection of toys under the table and is (reasonably!) sound-proofed. There are also nappy-changing facilities available by the toilets next to the Crèche Room.
Crèche
There is a crèche that runs during our Morning Services. There is a selection of toys and books, and we would ask that you take your child through to the Crèche Room yourself.
Tiddlywinks
This is a 'Mums and Toddlers' group that meets on a Tuesday morning in the Church Hall at 10am There is a waiting list for this very popular group, but for further details, please contact the church office (566381).
