Christianity Explored - regular courses running at St James's

What is Christianity Explored?
Christianity Explored is a 7 week course, designed for anyone who wants to investigate Christianity informally, with a group of other people.  Whether you already know a lot about the Christian faith, or nothing at all, it doesn't matter!  Whether you're a Christian who wants to 'brush up on the basics', or a convinced atheist – we don't mind, everyone is welcome!

What happens at Christianity Explored?
After coffee there is usually a group discussion, raising any questions from the previous week, and then discussing
Christianity Exploredtogether a passage from the bible.  This is followed by a talk on the theme for the week, after which the group has an opportunity to discuss any questions that the talk has raised.
The course is designed to be informal, so you can ask any questions you like, whenever you like!  The course is free and you will not need to bring anything with you. All course materials are provided.

Is it 'Churchy'?
Hopefully not! This is not a church service, there will be no praying, no singing and you will not be asked to read aloud.  The talks are intended to explain a particular area of the Christian faith and to stimulate discussion.  However no-one has to say anything, you are welcome to just come and listen.  Naturally, you are free to pull out of the course at any time, if you want to.

How do I join?
